What you do
Before starting work, open Safetii and begin a new assessment. Enter your name, select your site or let GPS identify it. This is the pause. Look around. Take in what's in front of you before you pick up a tool or step onto a platform.
What Safetii does
Records your GPS coordinates, timestamps the start of the assessment, and saves all data locally to your device.
THINK
What you do
Consider the task ahead. What are you about to do? What equipment are you using? What's the environment like? Safetii prompts you to describe the task and conditions. This takes 15 seconds — just enough to actually think before acting.
What Safetii does
Stores your task description as part of the assessment record, linking it to the hazards and controls you identify next.
IDENTIFY
What you do
Walk through common hazard categories — working at heights, electrical, manual handling, chemical, environmental, and more. Tick what applies. If you spot something, add a photo and a description. Finding a hazard isn't a problem. Missing one is.
What Safetii does
Logs each identified hazard with its photo evidence and description. Feeds each hazard into the risk matrix for the next step.
CONTROL
What you do
For each hazard you identified, assess the risk using the built-in risk matrix — likelihood times consequence. Then record what control measures you're putting in place. Eliminate, substitute, isolate, engineer, administrative, PPE — the hierarchy of control, in order.
What Safetii does
Maps each hazard to its risk rating and control measures. This is the documentation that proves you didn't just find a hazard — you managed it.
MONITOR
What you do
Confirm you're satisfied the controls are in place and it's safe to proceed. Sign the assessment on screen. Get your supervisor to countersign. The assessment is complete.
What Safetii does
Captures both digital signatures with timestamps. Locks the assessment record so it can't be altered after sign-off.
Done. Now it actually exists.
Your completed Take 5 is saved on your device immediately. No internet required. When you're back in range, it syncs automatically.
You can export any assessment as a PDF — a complete, audit-ready document with your name, location, timestamp, hazards, risk ratings, control measures, photos, and signatures.
